1. About OneLetter
OneLetter ("we", "us", "our") is an information service operated in the United Kingdom. We provide plain-English summaries and explanations of official letters and documents to help individuals understand their contents.
2. Not Legal Advice
Important: OneLetter is an information service only. Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice. Our explanations are for general informational purposes and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice from a solicitor, accountant, or other qualified professional.
If you receive a legal notice, court summons, or urgent document, please consult a qualified solicitor promptly.
3. Our Services
We offer the following services:
- Free Overview (£0): Upload a letter and see an instant plain-English summary of what it is, who sent it, and any deadline. No account or card required.
- Ultra Breakdown (£4.99): Your letter is analysed by an AI system and a full plain-English breakdown is sent to your email address within minutes.
- Complete Reply (£39): The Ultra Breakdown plus a drafted reply based on your letter, delivered by email. The reply is AI-generated and clearly labelled as such; it is a draft for you to check, complete, and send in your own name. We never contact the sender of your letter on your behalf, and we do not draft repayment offers or debt-settlement proposals, where a repayment decision is needed we signpost free, FCA-authorised debt advice instead.
- Reply Pack (£15): The same drafted reply as an optional add-on if you have already purchased an Ultra Breakdown.
Our liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing we provide creates a professional-client relationship, and we make no guarantee about the outcome of any reply you choose to send.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
If you're not satisfied with your explanation, contact us within 14 days at hello@oneletter.uk for a full refund, no questions asked.
5. Acceptable Use
You must only upload documents that you have the right to share. Do not upload documents belonging to others without their consent. Do not use our service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Accuracy
We endeavour to provide accurate and helpful explanations. However, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any explanation for your specific situation. AI systems can make mistakes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneLetter shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
